Description
A customer story is only worth writing if the number in the headline survives contact with the account team. Each of these started from the dashboard, not the interview: pull the actual figure, check it against what the customer would recognise, then find the story that explains it. The quote comes last, and only when there is something for it to confirm.
Nikshan runs seven electronics showrooms across North Kerala on WhatsApp, RCS, SMS and Click-to-WhatsApp ads, with no way to tell which channel produced which lead until showroom-level attribution existed to point to. The story took shape around that gap, not the multiplier it produced, and Joseph Sunny, their Head of Marketing, went on record about what changed. Wellbeing Nutrition's story started from a harder admission: their existing chatbot had started recommending competitor products. Writing around the fix a customer would actually recognise meant leading with what got corrected, not the CSAT number that came after.
Ace Blend's account team had to sign off on a claim about a category where shoppers read ingredient labels and ask hard questions, so the AI-commerce story needed to hold up before it went near a headline. Durex's version turned on a privacy-first consultation layer built for questions people will not ask a human, a harder story to tell than a sales figure and the one that actually explains it. Wonderchef's case was the most mechanical of the five: campaigns that used to get resent by hand across three channels stopped needing a human at all.
